Recently, some SPAM and phishing emails have gotten through our filters. The internet experienced a 61% increase in global spam volume on Feb 11th (see chart A below).
Our SPAM filter was hard at work on the 11th. We blocked 13,232 messages (29.4%), quarantined 15,607 messages (34.7%) and delivered 16,160 messages (35.9%) to our staff mailboxes. Unfortunately, the filters are not fool proof and periodically allow some SPAM emails into your inbox.
Google Apps for Education is a service from Google providing independently customizable versions of several Google products under a custom domain name which is the District's domain name - d303.org. It features several tools for educations that have similar functionality to traditional office software. Features include Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs and Sites.
